Hidden lanes, dramatic cliff views, secret harbours, beaches, bunkers and local stories – all in 3.5 hours.
This is the tour to take if you want to understand Guernsey properly.
In 3.5 hours we criss-cross the island through quiet lanes, out along the cliff tops, down into working harbours and across the west coast. You’ll see the landscapes that shape island life, hear the stories behind them and stop often enough to take it all in.
We pass Hauteville House, explore the hidden interior with its unique stories, wind through ruettes tranquilles and reach some of the island’s most dramatic viewpoints. There’s time for photos, questions and the sort of local insight you don’t get from a guidebook.
Part way through we stop at one of Guernsey’s scenic beach kiosks for refreshments. Guernsey Dairy ice cream, local crab, home made Gâche and proper island favourites. It’s relaxed, unhurried and very Guernsey.
I can personally recommend the Guernsey Crab sandwiches on brown, of course.
